Healing the Bladder
Anatomy and Physiology of the Bladder
The bladder is associated with the urethra, urine, sperm, uterus, upper part of the vagina, small intestine, prostate gland, and rectum. The bladder is located in the central pelvis region. It is a muscular, hollow and elastic organ that stretches as it fills with urine. Urination is possible when voluntary muscle contract and allow two sphincters to open.
