Morning Meditation.

In Your Bed


1. Take a few deep breaths – in through the nose and out through the mouth.


2. Relax your body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. As you descend, see if you notice any places where there is stuck energy in your body.


3. If you notice or feel any pain in the body, rub your hands together, place your hands on the spot and breathe into it.


4. Next, relax and see if you can detect any feelings of emotional pain, such as sadness or anxiety. If the pain is physical and associated with any particular place in your body, again rub your hands together, place them on the spot and breathe into it.


5. As you breathe, see if the spot has a shape, colour, texture or size.


6. Take note of the characteristics, continue breathing into the spot and imagine it becoming smaller and smaller.


7. Next, with your spiritual hands, take the pain and place it into a box.


8. Imagine taking the box to the ocean and setting it free on water, or any other image that feels natural to you, such as fire. Watch the waves carry it away until it floats out into the distance and out of sight.
